Intelligence, put to work.

OpenEXA builds the end-to-end infrastructure on which swarms of domain-specific AI agents run the world's high-value lifecycles. Not assistants that hand work back. Agents that carry it, gate by gate, to a record.

One body. Every agent reasons on the same post-trained model and reports to the same council, so five thousand independent decisions stay consistent with one rulebook.

01MissionAgents for the world's high-value lifecycles

Software has always waited for a person to decide. It doesn't have to anymore. The work that runs the world — the approvals, the exceptions, the handoffs, the records — is becoming an agent's work. Not one agent. Thousands, each with a single job, its own permissions and its own line in the ledger. OpenEXA builds those agents and the infrastructure they run on. The first lifecycle is already live.

Why we exist

The most valuable processes in the economy — settlement, creation and redemption, letters of credit, securitization, batch release — share six traits that make them expensive for people and exactly right for narrow, verifiable agents on a shared ledger.

The lifecycle test
02The story so farIdea · formation · proof · next

We chose the smallest, lowest-risk lifecycle we could find. On purpose.

S-01 · The idea

Change the unit of work.

Combine deep experience in large-scale systems and capital markets with the latest advances in autonomous agents — and build for lifecycles, not tasks. Start where every result can be verified by a third party.

S-02 · The formation

Systems people meet market people.

Architects of high-stakes systems, quantitative-finance research and desk experience under one roof, with an academic research partnership in computational finance and risk management.

S-03 · Proof · now

Lifecycle 01, live on real capital.

ETF creation and redemption run by the swarm: ten consecutive sessions above the floor, every fill confirmed by the executing broker, three beta customers on the lifecycle.

S-04 · Next

Master and copy. Then open rails.

One proven agent replicated across assets and strategies under a single control plane; then a marketplace where third parties run their own lifecycles on OpenEXA infrastructure.

03The teamBig Tech · Wall Street · the academy

Systems people and market people, under one roof.

Ten people and three advisors from technology and finance, with deep experience in AI, capital markets and financial innovation. Between them, they have built and led work at Google, Microsoft, Amazon, PayPal, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase, and they now build the agents that run Lifecycle 01.

04How we buildFour things that never change

The lifecycles vary. Four constants don't.

Across every phase of the platform — one agent, master and copy, open rails — these four principles hold. They are the research contribution. The product is what happens when you hold them constant and let the lifecycles vary.

C-01Boundary

Agents decide. Code executes.

The top four layers estimate and reason. The bottom four are deterministic: idempotent execution, authenticated tools, scoped permissions. The line between them is a typed schema.

C-02Scope

No single agent sees the whole job.

Each agent is scoped to one gate and does one thing. Its output is a proposal — a data structure until something downstream permits it. When it is wrong, we know which agent, at which gate.

C-03Permission

Nothing an agent believes can move what it is not permitted to.

Capabilities are held per agent and per tool and enforced by the runtime. Custody never moves. No agent and no tool has withdrawal rights.

C-04Record

Anything that settles is written to a ledger nobody can edit.

Append-only, hash-chained, replayable — and written only after an independent counterparty confirms. Every live session becomes a dataset.

05Where the work isSix lifecycle classes · one infrastructure

Finance was the proving ground. It will not be the last.

The architecture does not know or care that Lifecycle 01 was in finance. It knows the process was multi-party, regulated, structured, exception-heavy, gated and audit-bound — and it provides a layer for each.
